I am really excited about this as I have been toying with the idea of having the soap shakers manufactured for years and even tried doing it ourselves but it was too hard and they looked awful so we ended up going to someone who knew what they were doing which helps.

The soap shakers/savers are for putting soap in to wash your dishes instead of using dishwashing liquid. You can either put in old bits of soap or we have had these ones manufactured to fit a bought bar of soap so they are a little larger than the antique ones. If like us you make your own soap then you can cut the bars to fit.

These are impossible to buy new which is why I finally bit the bullet and had some made.  Not in China either but in good ole New Zealand just down the road about an hour away so hows that for local. The price reflects that but then you only need one. $42 NZD + P&P postage is about $5 normally.

It is an absolute delight to see peoples faces light up when they see them as they have been so impossible to find. Spread the word that soap shakers/savers are back.
